Filing A Degree Completion Plan

Every Ames Christian University learner follows a Degree Completion Plan based on the requirements of their chosen degree. After completing the Admission process, you will file a Degree Completion Plan that will identify exactly the courses you need to finish to complete your degree.

A Starting Point and a Map
Your Degree Completion Plan will act as your starting point and your map to degree completion.

It will act as your starting point because it will outline the exact requirements of your chosen degree. It will tell you how many of those requirements you have already fulfilled and which ones you still have to complete.

It wil act as your map , since a Degree Completion Plan outlines the courses you will need to complete in order to earn your degree.

A Commitment
Most important, your Degree Completion Plan will act as an agreement between you and Ames Christian University. It states exactly what you need to do to complete your degree, and what we'll do once you execute your Plan. It forms a link between us.

You can change your Degree Completion Plan at any time. Ames Christian University will do all we can to minimize the impact of your changes, but they can still cause you to experience substantial delay and additional cost in finishing your degree.

To File a Degree Completion Plan
After you complete an
Admission Application, arrange for transfer credit ,  and complete an optional Personal Learning Profile, we will evaluate all of your accumulated credit and apply it toward your Degree Completion Plan.

You will confirm the credit review, complete an Enrollment Agreement, and we will officially file your Degree Completion Plan. At that point, you will be eligible to enroll in Ames Christian University courses and begin pursuing your degree.
