The Bachelor of Biblical Studies (BBS) degree program is a unique collaboration between Ames Christian University and the Ames International School of Ministry, our bible college affiliate. It allows students to take a very focused, high quality biblical studies program at minimal cost.

In the BBS program students take approximately the first three quarters from the Ames International School Of Ministry (AISOM), then complete their degrees through Ames Christian University.

They begin with AISOM's extensive biblical studies curriculum of undergraduate-level courses. Then they finish by taking 11 major concentration courses from Ames Christian.

The AISOM portion of the program is tuition-free. A $20 administrative fee per course applies to convert AISOM certificates to credit. AISOM is a faith ministry and represents our interest in making a biblical studies degree available to as many learners as possible.

AISOM courses are completely online. They are self-paced and self-guided. All testing and measurement is handled within the course.

Ames Christian University courses are all faculty instructed, so Ames Christian charges its normal low tuition rates for its portion of the program. The combined effect is to make it possible for learners to earn a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree for significantly less than the cost of traditional programs, either online or campus based.
