Ames-Grove Institute of the Arts (AGIA) is the Creative Arts Division of Ames Christian University (ACU). AGIA seeks to engage and challenge the current cultural climate with the command to bring redemption and restoration to all aspects of human endeavor. AGIA desires to consult and minister to all individuals who aspire to radically impact their society and culture. Through the power of God, personal support and a variety of resources, AGIA desires to bring the possibilities of creative freedom and expression to the highest quality and innovation reflecting God's original intent for humanity to cultivate the world with His beauty, love and power through the creative arts and humanities.

Ames-Grove Institute of the Arts takes it name from Fisher Ames who believed that God’s Word should be at the core of all human endeavors and the late Dick Grove (1927-1998) who was a pioneer innovator in the field of contemporary music education. He was also the founder of the world-renowned Grove School of Music in Los Angeles and guided this highly regarded institution into the top rank of leading contemporary music schools. AGIA is currently planning to develop and provide a partner relationship with the Dick Grove Curriculum resulting in the new Grove Institute of Music. We believe that God created humanity with the gift of His own creativity and imagination; therefore, AGIA is devoted to the ongoing development and restoration of Spirit-inspired creativity and artistic excellence. 

For those with gifts in the creative arts (music, writing, etc.), AGIA is dedicated to you and your creative development. We only refer and partner with educational providers, ministries, and organizations of the highest quality and affordability to accommodate your creative and artistic growth.
