Complete and Submit Application
Complete, sign, and return Transcript Request Form (Signed, in hard copy form. Ames pays fees)

Preliminary Evaluation
The preliminary evaluation includes resume and/or application review, verification of employment and education, a review of Ames Christian's instructional needs.

It will also include an email interview to determine the match between our communication and relating styles and our mutual expectations. As Ames Christian's learners interact with Faculty members almost exclusively online in written form, we consider the tone and quality of your online communication crucial to your success and that of your learners.

Extension of Offer
Upon determination of mutual interest, Ames Christian will extend an offer to teach a course or courses.

Course Development
Faculty members receive Ames Christian's course development outline and create the materials needed for their online course.

Course Creation
Ames Christian University creates the course Web site(s) and deploys the virtual classroom(s) for each course.

Orientation
Candidates receive training and have the opportunity to work in the virtual classroom environment.

Instruction
On the course start date, Faculty members log onto the virtual classroom for their course and begin instructing Ames Christian learners.

Evaluation
Ames Christian University Faculty members are evaluated by learners and by Ames Christian University to determine performance and future assignments.
